WAA Podcast Episode 22: Raquel Goes Solo to GYC (50:08)

(left to right) Jesse Sias, Raquel Coy, Samuel Ikonne
It’s not every day you see young people stepping out to share their faith and making a difference. But this past December that’s exactly what over 5,000 young people did at the 2010 GYC Session in Maryland and WAA? brings you a first hand account.

This week Jesse Sias and Samuel Ikonne talk to Raquel Coy about her experience at her first GYC. Being that it was her first solo trip anywhere outside of Texas, Raquel says that despite the challenges it was all worth it in the end. Raquel’s commitment to her faith this early in life is what being an Adventist youth is all about.

GYC is a youth led movement of Seventh-day Adventists which focuses on Bible study, intense prayer and living out one’s faith in Jesus. To learn more about GYC go to gycweb.org.
