Welcome to another podcast episode of “What’s an Adventist?”

Christianity is demonstrated in its purest form when Christians are living a life that reveals the loving character of Christ but is shown to be empty and cold when Christians claim to be godly and have no love for others. Since its founding, the Christian church has been plagued with conflict between those who faithfully represent Christ and befriend others to share their faith and those who claim to represent Christ but have fallen away from their true Christian duty.
This week Jesse Sias and Abraham Miranda talk about the rewards of being a friendly Christian and the dangers of Anti-Christ or the falling away from the true spirit of Christianity (Click on title to listen to podcast).

WAA Podcast Episode 54: An Atheist, A Rabbi, and a Disciple (1:06:57)

Welcome to another podcast episode of “What’s an Adventist?”

The war between secularism and religion is an everyday reality in our country. While Christians passionately defend their rights to express their faith without any obstruction, secular and skeptic groups also feel it is their right to express their ideas and views as they see fit. So often these contentions make their way up to the courts for judges to decide how faith should or should not be exercised. At times the decisions favor religion and at times they favor secularism. Unfortunately, many times a religious right is defended the Christ-like spirit is lost.

Adventists, as well as Christians in general, have an obligation to walk as Jesus walked (1 John 2:6) regardless of the circumstances. The Bible teaches that Christians who say they are in the light but hate their brother, are still in darkness (1 John 2:9). When Adventists encounter a person who disagrees with Christianity, is hostile to faith, or has serious character defects, they should always remember that Christ has a plan for reaching them.

This week Jesse Sias and Abraham Miranda talk about how God has a plan to reach people no matter who they are or where they are in their life.
